THE BALCONY PLAN: PRESENTATION MADE BY THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE TO SEAC ON 23rd MAY 2013 (53RD MEETING) ON OBSERVATIONS RAISED AFTER THE 51st MEETING

The Management committee did their homework, more than adequately addressed the queries raised by the SEAC and presented the Society's justification in seeking the 'environment clearance' for extension of balconies to the SEAC on 23rd May 2013 in their 53rd Meeting. The SEAC did not hear the complete presentation and walked out before it was over. Minutes of the Meeting are awaited before weighing further options. Observations again raised by the SEAC included certain requirements by the DDA which have been conveyed to it by the Society.

THE BALCONY PLAN: CLARIFICATION BY THE SOCIETY ON LG's NOTIFICATION

THE BALCONY PLAN: PRESENTATION BY THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE TO THE SEAC ON 05th APR 2013

As a follow up of getting clearance from the Environment Ministry for the 'Balcony Project' of the Society, the Management Committee had prepared a detailed presentation. The same was presented before the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC) by Col RC Kapoor, Retd along with Mr AK Malpani, President, Mr LC Tomar and Mr VS Nagar in its 51st meeting held on 05th Apr 2013. Although the proposal to extend the existing balconies was verbally cleared on the spot, the clearance was held up due to an objection raised by Dr MP George, Scientist-D, DPCC siting LG's Notification No. 7(16)2002/Bldg./Pt./ dated 16.04.2012. The Society was asked to clarify the LG's order.  The slides covering essential details of the presentation made are given below:
